BBC Bitesize and Royal Navy Careers
December:
BBC Bitesize Careers
Harris Academy Morden welcomed the BBC Bitesize Careers team to talk to years 7-10. Students had a
presentation about the different creative careers available at the BBC, and the different qualifications and skills needed to enter those careers. Students thoroughly enjoyed the event!
January:
Royal Navy
The academy welcomed the Royal Navy in early January. Year 8 had a Q&A session where students learnt about the different careers within the Royal Navy. Students then completed a Dragon’s Den task where they had to create a product using a STEM kit worth investing in, before presenting it to the ‘Dragons’.
