Chinese Mandarin Club
The Chinese Mandarin Club has been thriving this term! Our dedicated students have been immersed in the rich culture and traditions of China. Before the half term break, they delved into the vibrant festivities of Chinese New Year, learning about its significance and customs.
Recently, the club members put their newfound knowledge into action by creating a delightful treat - sugar coated fruits on sticks, reminiscent of the beloved Tanghulu snack. This variation captures the essence of Chinese New Year, with its symbolism of happiness and prosperity.
The entire club enjoyed crafting and savouring these traditional sweet treats, further deepening their appreciation for Chinese culture. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures with the Chinese Mandarin Club!
