Opera House Trip

Year 10 Harris Experience students were invited to attend a special Schools’ Performance of Puccini’s “La Boheme” at the Royal Opera House on Thursday 8th February 2024. After an introduction by opera singer Andrea Carroll, students were treated to the incredible staging, costumes and talent of The Royal Opera.

The front row seats assigned to Harris Morden meant that the students could see straight into the orchestra pit, enabling students to enjoy identifying the different instruments they could see. Andrea Carroll explained that she was a teenager when she first fell in love with opera; maybe we’ve got the next star at Harris Morden!
