On Wednesday the 8th of May, a group of year 9 students went to Wimbledon Common to practise their orientation and navigation skills. Some students were very surprised that a big open space was so close to the school. 
The students used their newly acquired navigation skills to navigate us to the pond area where they fed the ducks and then had their own lunch. After lunch there was a competitive stone skimming competition, this made feeding the ducks a challenge as they kept thinking the stones were food!
15,000 steps later everyone had a fabulous, tiring day
